Ashley's gift to Spencer with "Spashley" written on the side
Spashley, is a portmanteau of Spencer and Ashley, and refers to the romantic relationship between them. The name was first coined by fans of South of Nowhere, and the term was made canon in the series finale On the Precipice. In one of the final moments, Ashley gave Spencer a key chain: containing a tube of sand from the beach where Spencer first came out to her, with the word Spashley printed on its side.
