The morning after Paula and Arthur are helping Glen recover from him addiction and send him and Clay of to school, however Paula makes Spencer stay home as she feels she is 'sick' and needs help with her sexuality. Aiden is at the gym and tells Madison it's over between him and Kyla when Ashley comes in and asks him if he's seen Spencer, which he hasn't. Ashley and Aiden confide in each other about their various relationship problems, while Clay confides in Sean about Chelsea and his troubles at home.

At school Glen continues to feel the withdrawal symptoms and discards his secret drug stash in hopes he can kick his addiction for good, while Ashley continues to try and contact Spencer. Unbeknownst to Ashley, Paula has Spencer's cell phone and wont allow Spencer to talk to her, while keeping Spencer locked in her room. Arthur comes to see Spencer in an attempt to comfort her and tells her he loves her no matter what her sexuality is. Sadly Paula doesn't feel the same way and calls a 'Specialist' Dr. Crawford to come and cure Spencer of her lesbianism.

Clay calls his birth mother Cecily in an attempt to get advice regarding the pregnancy situation, while Arthur takes Glen to a rehab appointment. Ashley goes to the Carlin household but is forced away by Paula, just as Dr. Crawford arrives and begins Spencer's treatment. Eventually Arthur, Glen and Clay return and see what is happening to Spencer, causing Arthur to immediately intervene and kick Dr. Crawford out of the house, saving Spencer from any more humiliation. Cecily arrives and comes to talk to Clay about his situation and advises him to do what he feels is right. Ashley comes and sneaks Spencer out as they decide to run away together.
